I was born in Salisbury, Maryland where at the age of 5, I inherited my sister's abandoned watercolor set.  My passion for art has lead me down many paths, from illustrating childrens books to painting murals around the DMV area.  Painting animal portraits happened quite by accident with my granddaughter adopting a cat.  As a Christmas gift, I presented her with a portrait of her cat and the rest is history.  I found my perfect niche....my love for animals....my joy for painting...and the ability to give someone a memory that they can hold onto long after their pet is gone.
